Nioh 3 update launches April 27, adds multiple high-difficulty Battle Scrolls

On April 27th, Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA will release a free update for Nioh 2 that includes challenging new Battle Scrolls. Players who complete these difficult missions will earn new skills as rewards.

Here is a message from Nioh 3 producer Kohei Shibata on the update:

Thank you to all our players worldwide who have enjoyed Nioh 3 since it launched! We’re actively working on new updates and downloadable content for the game.

I’d also like to quickly mention our free update coming out on April 27th. It will mainly add new features and content to make playing Nioh 3 even better.

Content included in the impending update:

  • Addition of multiple high-difficulty Battle Scrolls (side missions).
  • Addition of the Stone of Penance, which increases accessory +Values and rarities in exchange for higher difficulties.
  • Addition of new skills as rewards for completing selected high-difficulty Battle Scroll missions.
  • Balance adjustments to enhance certain Graces.

We’re working on getting this update out now and thank you for your patience while we finish up.
