The Expedition 19 Redux: Corvette event will be available in No Man’s Sky as part of the 2025 holiday season.
This adventure focuses on piloting corvette-class ships. You’ll receive one quickly and use it throughout the entire game. Enhance its capabilities and explore the galaxy, utilizing its special features!
In this guide, we’ll help you complete this Expedition as quickly as possible.
Starting the Expedition and Prep

Like with most Expeditions, there are a couple of ways to jump in. You can either start a brand new game in Expedition mode, or you can head to the Space Anomaly in a save you’re already playing. It’s up to you how you want to begin!
We still suggest starting with a previously saved game, if possible. This lets you keep some items, making the playthrough much faster!
Now, here’s a list of everything we suggest keeping at the Space Anomaly for this Expedition:
- Silicate Powder x30
- Carbon x30
- Silver x120
- Gold x270
- Frost Crystal x250
- Warp Cell x1
- Tritium x300 as a backup for your Pulse Engine
- Runaway Mould to sell for Nanites, optionally.
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to access these items until you unlock the Space Anomaly by warping for the first time during the Expedition. This means you’ll need to play through the beginning and do some initial work before you can get to them!
If you’d prefer to start a new game or don’t have the necessary items, that’s perfectly fine! We’ll cover how to get those resources later, when they’re needed for the Expedition.
Okay, so definitely grab all the rewards from Milestones as soon as you unlock them – you’ll need those to keep getting better. Also, a little tip: if you don’t want to use up storage space right away, you can skip claiming those Storage Expansion Slots and save them for my main game later.
Just a heads-up from my experience: steer clear of black holes if you can, and try not to load up on modules you don’t need. I’ve learned it’s really useful to sell those extra modules because you get Nanites in return. And trust me, you’ll need Nanites – they’re essential for unlocking certain Milestones and, most importantly, for copying your cool Starship or Multitool from the Expedition over to your main game save!
With all of that said, it’s now time to start this Expedition up!
Early Exploration and Grinding

When you begin your Expedition, focus on collecting just enough resources to make your first warp jump. Specifically, you’ll need 30 Oxygen, 50 Ferrite Dust, 90 Copper, and 20 Carbon.

After collecting the necessary items, head to the in-game marker to find and enter your Starship. You’ll receive a phone call – answer it to get the blueprint for the Orbital Link.

First, build a Metal Plating device, then create a Portable Refiner. Use the Refiner to turn all of your Copper into Chromatic Metal.

Now, build the Orbital Uplink. Once it’s placed and turned on, use it to teleport to the closest Space Station, which will finish the “Link to the Stars” milestone.
After you reach that goal, please verify you have at least 8 empty storage spaces. If so, you can claim your reward: the Corvette Basic Modules Pack.

Go to the Space Station and stand facing the Trading Station. Turn left, and you’ll see some teleporters. Use those to travel to the Corvette Workshop. Once there, use the terminal you find inside.

Build a new corvette, making sure it meets the requirements shown in the top right corner of your screen. Use the work you’ve already done from the previous step, complete the design, and then replace your Starship with this new corvette.
Next, get inside the corvette and use the Build menu to add a Mission Radar. This finishes the “Ship Architecture” milestone, which will give you 3 weapon modules as a reward. Be sure to install those modules as well!

Next, use the game’s Photo Mode to snap a picture of your corvette and finish the “Aperture” milestone. You can then sell the Pearls and Gravitino Balls you earn as rewards.
Fly Away, Now

Now that you’ve used it, you can take apart the Mission Radar from your corvette to get materials back. Don’t forget to sell any Pearls and Balls you’ve collected, too.
Please use the money you receive to buy one unit of Dioxite x125, two Microprocessors, and as much Ferrite Dust as you can. You can find everything you need at the Space Station.

Now that’s finished, get in your corvette and travel to the Flourishing Moon called “Lonwick Delta.” Landing there will automatically complete the “Grounded” milestone. Don’t forget to equip the Fishing Rig you received as a reward!

First, collect a Gravitino Ball while on the moon, then get into your corvette. Fly into space and wait for Interceptors to come after you. Destroy three of them to unlock the “Anarchy” milestone.

Here’s a quick way to escape pursuing Sentinels: exit the pilot’s seat and wait for the message confirming your game was saved. Then, go to the options menu and choose ‘Quit to Mode Select,’ then reload your save. This should remove the Sentinels as a threat.

Now, head back to the Space Station. As you approach, open the game menu and choose “Autopilot Management,” then select “Maintain current flightpath.” Let the autopilot guide you for 20 seconds – this will finish the “Cruising” milestone.
Okay, so once my ship launches, I just need to zoom around and blast any asteroids I see. Apparently, I gotta destroy 33 of them to hit this “Heavyweight” goal, which sounds pretty intense!
Now, fly your Corvette a total of 70,000u to finish the “Flightpath” milestone. After that, please land at the Space Station.
Leaving the System

Head to the Technology Merchant at the Space Station and sell any modules you’re not using. After that, purchase and install the Hyperdrive Modules from the same merchant.
Next, buy and install the C-Class Starship Shield Module. Once it’s installed, take it apart to get a Wiring Loom and some Chromatic Metal. You’ll need these materials to fix the Hyperdrive Engine.

Okay, so it’s time to move on. I need to pick the “Resist: 1” milestone and jump to the system it shows on my Galaxy Map. That’ll finish up the “Can’t Take the Sky” milestone for me.
If you previously stored resources in the Space Anomaly, you can now summon it to retrieve them. Go ahead and do that if you’d like!

Once you’ve dealt with that, simply follow the markers leading to the center of the Space Station. Interacting with the core will finish the “Resist: 1” objective.
Now that’s finished, remember to install the X-Class Suspicious Hyperdrive Module you earned as a reward. After that, buy 25 Chromatic Metal from the trade terminal at the Space Station.

Finally, keep an eye on the “Resist: 2” milestone and follow its signal. Just like before, you’ll need to travel to another star system and find the core of the Space Station there.

Okay, so I just finished “Resist: 2” and got a bunch of Habitation Modules as a reward! Now I’m heading over to the Corvette Workshop to install those and finish up the “Advance: Expand” mission. After that, I’m going to equip the Pre-Packaged Hazmat Gauntlet that I also earned – can’t wait to see what that does!
If you didn’t transfer items from your primary game save, now is a good time to buy 120 Silver and 170 Gold from merchants.
Time for Some Salvaging

Next, depart from the Space Station and head towards the icy planet, Loyd VIII. Engage the autopilot to keep you on course and follow the planet’s orbital path.

As you travel in your ship, use your Visor to find Salvage Containers on the planet below. When you spot one, fly your corvette towards it and shoot at the container with your weapons. This will automatically collect it without requiring you to land.
Keep repeating this step until you’ve gathered 5 Corvette Modules – that will finish the Salvaging milestone.
Optional Farming | Resource Make Up

Okay, so if you’re starting a fresh game or didn’t grab everything on the list at the beginning, now’s the perfect time to get those missing resources! Let’s make sure I’m fully stocked for what’s coming up.
Land on Loyd VIII and gather the following resources:
- Frost Crystals x250
- Oxygen x30
- Carbon x70
- Silicate Powder x30
Also, use the materials you’ve gathered to create one Warp Cell – you’ll need it later on. This will bring you up to speed with players who obtained resources through the Space Anomaly!
Resist Some More

Now, create 3 Living Walls within your corvette and plant 5 Frostwort. Importantly, don’t reposition any of your ship’s modules from here, or you’ll have to start their growth over!
After finishing that step, keep track of the “Resist: 3” progress and complete it like you did with the earlier Resist milestones. Be sure to claim the rewards, then install the 3 Thruster Modules to finish the “Advance: Move” objective.

Okay, so next up, head over to the Isabeaum Torrid Planet. Once you’re there, just find any water and catch three fish. That’ll knock out the “Proteins from the Sea” milestone for me. Easy peasy!

Feeling peckish? If not, don’t worry! Build a Nutrition Unit in your corvette and use it to cook any fish you’ve caught. Doing so will unlock the “Fresh Rations” milestone.
To finish the “Undying Horde” milestone, you need to defeat 5 Corrupt Sentinels on this planet. If you’re having trouble, you can reset the Sentinel threat by reloading an earlier save, as described before.

Next, locate and record information about three different animal species on the planet to finish the “Wild Things” milestone. You’ll be able to use the Echo Locator, which you receive as a reward, to help with this.

Use the Echo Locator’s marker to find a settlement. Once there, solve the Harmonic Interface puzzle on the terminal. The puzzle will give you decimal numbers as clues – use these to select the correct glyphs.

Okay, so I figured out the puzzle, and now I need to choose “Deactivate Multi-Tool seal” to finally get the Sentinel-class Multi-Tool. That’ll finish up the “Reclaimed Weaponry” milestone, which is awesome!
Now that’s done, please finish the “Resist: 4” milestone. It functions just like the previous three, so you should be familiar with the process. After completing it, install the Corvette Shield Generators you received.
Defend and Destroy

Now, head to the Corvette Workshop terminal and trade for a second Corvette Shield Generator. Install it to finish the “Advance: Defend” milestone.
Also, be sure to install the Corvette Weapon System modules you earned as a reward—you’ll need them to finish the “Advance: Destroy” objective.

Get the rewards for reaching the latest milestone. You can use these rewards to add two more Technology slots to your Starship’s inventory. Once you’ve done that, be sure to install a Conflict Scanner.

Use the Conflict Scanner to locate systems controlled by pirates—they’re marked with a skull icon. Traveling to one of these systems will unlock the “Off the Radar” milestone.

When you arrive in the system, go to the Space Station and buy as many black market items as you can. It doesn’t matter what kind of items they are.
Okay, so next up is the “Resist: 5” milestone. It’s pretty straightforward – just follow the marker to complete it. Honestly, it’s just like all the other Resist milestones we’ve done so far, nothing too complicated about it.

Get 2 Corvette Reactor Modules by claiming the rewards for that milestone. Then, install these modules on your ship to finish the “Advance: Heart” milestone.

While you’re at the Space Station, be sure to sell the illegal items you previously purchased. This will finish the “Under Their Noses” milestone.
Anomalies, Freighters, and More

Next, focus on the “Dwarfed” milestone. Use the Anomaly Detector you previously earned as a reward. Travel through space using your Pulse Engine until you locate an Anomaly, and then complete it to finish the milestone.

You’ll receive the Emergency Signal Scanner from the quest “Dwarfed” now. Use it, then use your Pulse Engine to locate a Derelict Freighter. Exploring this freighter will complete the “Spacewreck” milestone.

This will give you a Sentinel Boundary Map. Use this map to identify a location for a Sentinel Pillar within the same star system – we’ll explain how to get that in just a moment.

Right now, make sure to check on your Frostwort plants. All five should be fully grown and ready to harvest, which will finish up the “Silent Running” milestone.

Next, get out of your Corvette while you’re in space and use the Jetpack to fly around for 23 seconds. This will unlock the “Extravehicular” achievement.

Once you’re ready, return to the path indicated on the Sentinel Boundary Map. Enter the atmosphere of the designated planet and begin tracking the “Stardiving” milestone. Exit your corvette and quickly descend towards the planet’s surface for 40 seconds to complete this step.

After finishing that step, continue following the on-screen marker to find the Sentinel Pillar on the planet. Destroy the buildings surrounding it, and then use the terminal to turn off the Sentinel defenses. This will unlock the “One, Zero” milestone.

Return to your ship in space and install an Emergency Warp Unit. Then, use the Emergency Warp function from the Utilities menu to finish the main mission, “Fast Scramble!”

You’ve almost finished the Expedition! There are two optional challenges you can complete with other players to earn even more Quicksilver.
- Hitchhiking – Ride another player’s corvette for 7000u.
- Resistance – Imprint signatures at rendezvous stations. This is a community tally of the “Resist” milestones.
Finishing Up

Okay, so you’ve finally finished everything! If you want, you can head to a Space Station and sell off any leftover modules for Nanites. Then, just pop over to the Space Anomaly and use the Expedition terminal to officially wrap things up. I’m so excited to be done, and I can’t wait to start a new adventure!
If you began with an existing save file, move any items or progress you want to keep back to it. If you started a new game, your current progress will automatically be saved as a standard save file.

You can always visit the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion at the Space Anomaly to get your rewards!
Well, that concludes Expedition 19 Redux! That’s everything you need to know to finish it quickly, focusing on the Corvette in No Man’s Sky.
