Housemarque has announced that it’s upcoming shooter, Saros, has gone gold.
When a game “goes gold,” it means development of the final version is finished and it’s prepared for release.
Saros is scheduled to launch on April 30th, 2026, and we anticipate the next few weeks will be dedicated to fixing any remaining issues for a launch day update.
The sci-fi action shooter, which is a roguelite, was originally scheduled to release on March 20th, but its launch was delayed by a little over a month. Now that the main part of the game is finished, it looks like there won’t be any more setbacks.
Excitement has been steadily building for the game as we’ve slowly seen more gameplay and trailers.
Recent previews of Saros have generated a lot of excitement, with many journalists giving it highly positive reviews after extended play sessions.
Fortunately, it’s now only a few more weeks before we can all play for ourselves.
