Okay, so Spike Chunsoft just announced they’re bringing No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 4 on February 26, 2026. It’ll cost $39.99, which seems pretty reasonable to me. I’m definitely excited to replay it on next-gen consoles!
A physical copy of the game will be available for PlayStation 5 at a standard price of $39.99, or as a $64.99 bundle that includes a tote bag. Versions for Xbox Series and PlayStation 4 will only be available digitally.

I finally got my hands on No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files! It came out on July 25th for Switch, Switch 2, and Steam, so I jumped on it right away.
Here is an overview of the game, via Spike Chunsoft:
About
In No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files, you play as detective Kaname Date, working with his AI partner, Aiba, to solve a new mystery. This time, they’re trying to rescue Iris, a popular internet idol who’s been trapped in a deadly escape game. The game adds a new “Escape” mode where you’ll solve puzzles to get out of locked rooms. You’ll also investigate crime scenes and interview witnesses, and dive into the dream worlds of suspects, just like in previous games. By switching between these three gameplay styles – Escape, Investigation, and Somnium – you’ll gather clues and uncover the truth.
Story Summary
Following the conclusion of the New Cyclops Serial Killings case, popular internet personality Iris Sagan, also known as “A-set,” is kidnapped by a UFO and compelled to play a dangerous game called The Third Eye Game. Simultaneously, a strange, coffin-like device is found elsewhere in the city, accompanied by a note that reads:
“Psync me.”
Driven by a fragile connection to the disappeared Iris, Special Agent Kaname Date is back on the hunt for an impossible UFO. He’s joined by his AI companion, Aiba, as they embark on a new and challenging mission.
