Noah Lyles and Kenny Bednarek’s rivalry is heating up.
In the last moments of the 200m final at the August 3rd Toyota USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships, the Olympic contenders, fighting for places at the forthcoming World Championships in Tokyo, were almost level with Lyles slightly behind Bednarek.
However, in the last steps, Lyles, aged 28, surpassed the 26-year-old competitor, casting a glance towards him as he passed the finish line. According to the commentators, this move was a clear demonstration of his superiority or control over the competition.
In response, Bednarek pushed Lyles from behind, causing them both to halt momentarily. Afterward, they spoke briefly. When Bednarek offered a handshake to Lyles, the gold medalist hesitated and requested an apology before accepting the handshake.
TopMob News has reached out to Lyles and Bednarek’s reps for comment but has not heard back.
Bednarek subsequently addressed the tension, detailing his perspective.
After the race, Bednarek explained to the media through CNN, “Noah will continue to be Noah.” He emphasized that Noah’s words weren’t significant, but his actions were. He expressed disapproval towards unprofessional behavior, stating, “I don’t tolerate such actions. It’s about respect.
Lyles, who holds the record for being the fastest American over the 200m, was not required to compete, as his status as a world champion guarantees him a spot at the World Championships. However, he has expressed that he chose to participate as part of his recovery process following an ankle injury sustained in April, to gain additional training opportunities.
In simpler terms, Bednarek said, “By the close of the contest, he’s at his best. Last time our paths crossed, I came out on top, and that’s as far as I can go back. When we meet again, I intend to emerge victorious.
In truth, Bednarek has outperformed Lyles in their last two Olympic 100-meter sprint finals, claiming the silver medal each time while Lyles earned a bronze on both instances.
In essence, he shouldn’t treat me like that,” he continued. “I don’t engage in such behaviors. To me, it’s not a sign of good character. That said, he won the race, so I must acknowledge his victory. Today, he was simply superior.
In fact, Bednarek seemed to hint at an ongoing feud between the two.
In simpler terms, he told reporters (according to CNN) that there are some private matters he’s dealing with. He mentioned that the person in question has his contact information, so they could reach out if they wished, but instead, they chose to make a public statement about it. To him, this is amusing.
He can reach out to me anytime at the close of the day,” he mentioned. “We’ll talk it over, and I’m confident everything will work out fine.
Meanwhile, Lyles chose not to discuss their argument then, but Bednarek made it clear they would address any issues away from the playing field.
He told Lewis Johnson on NBC Sports, “I won’t discuss it publicly right now, but there are matters we need to handle and converse over.

He assured Vanity Fair, “Tan and I are doing well, and we will continue to be so.” He explained that there was a private matter between them, which is unrelated to the show. It was an ongoing issue, and he wanted to make it clear that it was not romantic in nature.
By March 2024, Tan addressed accusations claiming he worked towards having Jeremiah Brent replace Bobby on the show “Queer Eye”.
He stated on Instagram that Netflix and the production companies undertook a comprehensive casting process. He didn’t recommend his friend for the role, but rather, they landed it because they were the most suitable candidate for the job. However, he did not secure their employment by eliminating someone else.
In a December 2023 episode of her podcast “Let’s Be Clear,” Holly Marie Combs, who used to act with Shannen on Charmed, claimed that Alyssa had given an ultimatum to a show producer, saying they should choose between herself and Shannen. This alleged action reportedly led to Shannen leaving the show in 2001.
In February 2024, Alyssa stated on Instagram, “I didn’t possess the authority to terminate anyone’s employment,” and added that “the passage of time has made any recounting of these events by anyone akin to revising historical facts.
The following day, Shannen asserted during a discussion at MegaCon Orlando, “No one is rewriting history where my truth resides.
Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.
In September 2023, while engaging in a game called Stir the Pot on TopMob News with her daughter Kelly Osbourne, Sharon remarked that Kelly’s That ’70s Show co-star was the most impolite celebrity she had ever encountered. She labeled him as “extremely rude” not once but four times and referred to him as a “naughty little boy” and a “despicable little character.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Approximately five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that when Ashton was a guest on The Talk in 2014, he exhibited a bit of an attitude due to her mistakenly referring to him by the wrong name.
In a professional setting, someone once challenged me, asking, “Who are you? What have you accomplished in this field?” To which I responded, “Son, let me make one thing clear: I am not to be trifled with. I will outshine and outperform you so thoroughly, you’ll barely remember our encounter.” In simpler terms, they underestimated my capabilities, a mistake they won’t repeat.

In a TikTok challenge in 2022, JoJo Siwa called out Candace Cameron Bure as being the rudest celebrity. She shared an instance where Bure declined to take a photo with her on a red carpet, which left Siwa feeling snubbed. However, shortly after this jab, Bure, famous for her role in Full House, issued an apology: “I guess I broke your heart when you were 11. I didn’t take a picture with you. I feel terrible, I feel… JoJo, I’m truly sorry.
In a later period, it was questioned whether Candace anticipates the Great American Family network, where she holds the position of chief creative officer, to portray same-sex couples as main characters in holiday films. She responded negatively, stating, “I believe that Great American Family will continue to uphold traditional marriage as its foundation.
In 2021, JoJo publicly identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community, and they expressed on Instagram that the actress’ remark was both disrespectful and painful towards an entire group of individuals.
In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover of her band Hole for a promotional photo without giving proper recognition. Rodrigo responded with “I love you so much and am going through this all with you.” To which, Courtney replied playfully, “Olivia, you’re welcome! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London. Feel free to message me for details! I can’t wait to read your response [winking face emoji].
In my interview on “Watch What Happens Live,” I was questioned about my strained relationship with the actor from Forrest Gump during our time working together on the 1989 film Turner & Hooch.
He had been working on the movie as its director for 13 days when he was summoned to Jeff Katzenberg’s office. “Have you got everything you need?” he asked me. “Go home,” he instructed.
It appeared that Winkler found the canine costar of Hanks quite amiable. He expressed, “I connected wonderfully, wonderfully well with that dog.” “I adore that dog.
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.
“You know what you did!”
Supporters of the TV show “The Hills” may recall that well-known phrase, spoken by Lauren during the season three opener. This dispute between them originated when Heidi started dating her current spouse, Spencer Pratt, and escalated to its highest point when Lauren claimed that Heidi and Spencer had spread a gossip about her making a sex tape with Jason Wahler.
A longstanding dispute between costars flared up again when Tyrese publicly criticized Dwayne on Instagram after the release date for Fast and Furious 9 was shifted to April 2020. It turned out that day, a spinoff of Fast and Furious featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was slated for a 2019 theater release. The subsequent month saw Tyrese vowing to leave Fast 9, if Dwayne were part of the movie.
Later on, Tyrese spoke candidly about the conflict, confiding in Van Lathan during an episode of the “The Red Pill” podcast, stating, “I haven’t spoken to The Rock up until now, and we will have a discussion.” He disclosed that he had interacted with the producer associated with the actor, but not Dwayne Johnson himself.
In his words, Tyrese admitted to serving as a representative for multiple individuals connected to the franchise. However, he was the sole one who openly expressed those sentiments in public, an action he now acknowledges as his own mistake. He went on to say that this behavior is unprofessional and not something to be admired.
No more bad blood here.
For many years, Taylor and Katy were engaged in a long-standing dispute, with Taylor’s song “Bad Blood” being one of the outcomes. The conflict, which is said to have begun over a backup dancer and rival tours, was finally put to rest when Perry extended an olive branch, literally, to Taylor prior to the commencement of her Reputation Tour.
In a heartfelt Instagram video, I excitedly shared that I’ve just discovered an authentic olive branch backstage – it holds such deep significance for me.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”
For quite some time, rumors of a feud between the co-stars of “Sex and the City,” specifically Kim and Sarah Jessica Parker, had been avoided. However, these whispers resurfaced when Kim opted out of participating in a third movie, and subsequently made statements about her fellow actress that left many questioning their relationship.
Andy Cohen inquired about Sarah Jessica Parker’s response when Kim Cattrall stated that they were only work associates, not friends, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in September 2017.
She expressed her feelings by saying, “I am truly heart-stricken. For an entire week, we discussed this topic, and it left me deeply affected. That’s just not how I remember our shared past.
She said, “It’s unfortunate, but I guess I feel like the shared unique experience we had is what truly binds us. Although it was a professional bond, over the course of numerous years, it transformed into something deeply personal. So, I hope that this enduring connection overshadows any recent disagreements.” She went on to say, “The prolonged time we spent doing something so extraordinary and meaningful has been an immense privilege for us all.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.
Since 2004, these renowned musicians have been engaged in a longstanding disagreement. During the Q Awards of that year, Elton John, while receiving the Classic Songwriter Award, expressed his displeasure towards the audience by saying: “Madonna being named the best live act? Nonsense! When does miming count as live performance? I apologize, but I firmly believe that anyone who mimes on stage, especially when people have paid around 75 pounds to watch them, should be criticized.
In 2008, the actress who once starred on Grey’s Anatomy started a dispute with the show’s creator when she decided not to be considered for Emmy Awards. She explained that her decision was based on not receiving suitable content to merit a nomination.
Later on, Shonda discussed Katherine’s choice during an interview with Oprah Winfrey on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ in 2012. She expressed, “On one hand it hurt and on the other I wasn’t shocked. When people reveal their true nature, trust them. That’s a lesson I hold dear, and it has benefited me greatly.”
During the New York Fashion Week, a global headline was made when Nicki and Cardi had a heated argument at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party. A month later, Cardi revealed what sparked the fight with Nicki.
For some time, she’s been firing numerous criticisms at me, Cardi explained in the Art Issue of W magazine. “I had a conversation with her on two occasions, and we reached an agreement. However, she persisted.
The genuine source of conflict between them ignited when Cardi noticed that Nicki had apparently liked and subsequently unliked a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting abilities, an action that Nicki claims she did not perform.
Cardi B stated, “I had the opportunity to earn millions from my Bruno Mars tour, but I chose to stay with my child instead. ‘I adore my daughter,’ she added. ‘I’m a fantastic mother. So, it’s hard for people who don’t have children to understand that comment. People often say the party wasn’t the right time or place, but I won’t confront another artist in a grocery store or on the street.
The conflict between Kanye and Taylor Swift began in 2009 during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, when Kanye interrupted her to claim the stage for his own “Stronger” performance. Their friendship developed years later, but it ended again in 2026 following the release of his song “Famous,” which included a reference to Taylor Swift as the “End Game” singer.
On the eve of the Grammys in February 2025, I found myself making a surprising move on my Instagram – I followed none other than Taylor. No words accompanied this action, and Taylor graciously chose not to publicly acknowledge this gesture.
“I don’t know her.”
The ongoing dispute between Mariah and Jennifer Lopez has been running for more than 15 years now. It began when Mariah, known as the Queen of Christmas, was asked to share her thoughts on several singers during an interview.
