The atmospheric sci-fi exploration game Nova Antarctica is coming to PC via Steam on January 29th, according to publisher PARCO GAMES and developer RexLabo.
In a recent press release, RexLabo’s game director and creator, m.Hayashi, explained that Nova Antarctica started with a simple question: what would happen to people if the world fell silent? He believes releasing the game now feels like offering a glimpse into a potential future – one built on both our errors and our ability to overcome them. Hayashi describes the game as an invitation for players to explore a distant future Antarctica, a setting that has always captivated him and sparked unexpected creative possibilities. He hopes players will find stories within the game that resonate with them on a personal level and leave a lasting impression.

It’s the year 2900, and Earth is beyond saving. What was once the pristine continent of Antarctica now holds the remnants of a world devastated by disease, hunger, harsh weather, and endless war.
