The 2013 movie “Now You See Me” and its initial sequel followed a team of four illusionists who executed daring scams, and these films were financially successful, earning nearly $700 million globally. Nine years later, we have a third installment as the trailer for “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” has been released.
The plot is being tightly guarded, but based on the trailer, it appears that Eisenberg’s character had a disagreement with his fellow crew members at first. He then assembles a fresh young crew to steal the Heart Diamond from a wealthy criminal family, who are depicted as running a global network (played by Pike as the matriarch). Eventually, the original team and the newcomers join forces to bring down this powerful network.
In the third installment, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco reprise their roles as The Four Horsemen. Additionally, Rosamund Pike and Morgan Freeman have joined the cast for this movie. Such faith do the producers have in the success of this film that they’ve already begun writing a fourth movie!
The movie titled “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” directed by Ruben Fleischer, is scheduled to hit theatres on the 14th of November, 2025.
