It’s possible you’ve caught wind of the news: brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher performed together as Oasis for the first time in 16 years on Friday, 4th July, and based on accounts from the event, it was definitely a performance worth waiting for.
At Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the legendary rock ‘n’ roll artists delivered a thrilling, electrifying show. Instead of dwelling on past disagreements, the brothers chose to put aside their differences and reunite, performing their iconic high-speed music for more than 70,000 ecstatic spectators.
Anticipation ran high as countless fans eagerly awaited the Gallagher brothers’ next move, placing immense weight upon the broad shoulders of these titans of the music world. Yet, it seems their grand scheme resonated well with the crowd.
Andy Bush, host of Absolute Radio’s Hometime Show, expressed his awe by calling it “an absolutely incredible sight,” adding that he found it difficult to articulate its greatness.
Trying to express himself further, he mentioned: “The experience was deeply emotional from start to finish.
“They were absolutely way more amazing than I could ever possibly imagine.
“And as Brendan from our team said, you will hug a grown-up during that gig. It’s incredible.”
Trevor Davey, the podcaster, shared a sentiment similar to Bush’s, stating, “There will never again be such an unforgettable moment.
He exclaimed, “Oasis surpassed even the skeptics and my own anticipation. I’ve attended many impressive concerts throughout my life, but that one was truly exceptional! Liam performed with an intense passion, the playlist was outstanding, and the audience was absolutely captivated!
As a devoted fan of Oasis, let me tell you that the gig I attended last night was hands down the best I’ve ever witnessed. Over the years, I’ve seen them perform numerous times, but this one really took the cake. It wasn’t just the music or the energy on stage; it was the entire experience that made it unforgettable.
If you were able to secure a ticket, regardless of the cost, you made a good decision. You’re all set for an exciting experience ahead!
“What a night.”
During the entire night, the Britpop group performed their hits such as Cigarettes & Alcohol, Little by Little, not forgetting Wonderwall.

Throughout the night, the popular Britpop band played their classics like Cigarettes & Alcohol, Little by Little and of course, Wonderwall.
Apart from that, they honored Diogo Jota, the Liverpool soccer player who sadly died in a car accident along with his brother this past week, by singing Live Forever as a poignant tribute.
Tonight, the band will perform once more in Cardiff, which is the Welsh capital, as part of a two-concert series. Following this, they’ll head to Heaton Park in Manchester from the 11th to the 20th of July, then move on to Wembley Stadium in London on various dates in July and August, Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on the 8th and 9th of August, and Croke Park in Dublin on the 16th and 17th of August.
Anyone who couldn’t obtain tickets for these performances can still enjoy the experience in the comfort of their homes, since the creator of Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight, is supervising a documentary film that offers an exclusive backstage look at the reunion tour.
