Based on sales figures from October in the USA, EA’s latest first-person shooter is a massive success. It’s already become the best-selling game in the series ever and the top-selling game of 2025 so far.
This information comes from Mat Piscatella at Circana, who regularly shares detailed reports on video game sales each month.
The recent discussion shows Battlefield 6 was the clear winner in October. It was the best-selling game of the month – and even the entire year so far – based on revenue, and it reached number one on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Battlefield 6 achieved the highest single-month sales revenue in the United States for any game in three years.
The game had record-breaking sales in October, becoming the most successful title in the series. It sold more copies in just one month than the previous best-selling game, Battlefield 1, sold throughout its entire lifespan.
It will be fascinating to compare sales figures for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 when the November data is released.
Ghost of Yotei was a popular title in October, ranking as the third best-selling item overall and currently holding the tenth spot for best-selling games of the year.
This month’s top 20 also includes new entries like The Outer Worlds 2 at number seven, Little Nightmares 3 at number eight, and Ninja Gaiden 4 at number eleven.
