As a dedicated gamer, I can’t contain my excitement as I confirm that Omni-Man will be joining the fray in Invincible VS! I’ve been eagerly waiting for this announcement, and now I’ve got some tantalizing gameplay footage to tide me over until release.
And yes, by the way, voice actor J.K. Simmons will reprise his role as the character.
His official blurb, as shared by developer Quarter Up, is as follows:

Omni-Man is a versatile and formidable fighter, making him an excellent choice whether you’re building your team or facing one. His move set offers flexibility at every range. He can keep opponents at bay with his powerful blast, counteract careless attacks with his anti-air abilities, or quickly close the distance with his swift and devastating takedowns. Well-balanced, efficient, and relentless, Omni-Man is a top-tier ‘point’ character for players who aim to control the tempo from the initial strike.
It’s not new that Omni-Man appears in combat games; after all, he was added as downloadable content in Mortal Kombat 1 more recently.
In this freshly released game, developed by former Killer Instinct team members, the playing style will vary significantly from that of NetherRealm Studios’ games, even though the character’s move set may seem familiar. As a result, despite some apparent similarities, you can expect a unique gaming experience with him.
Just to round out, that means Invincible VS’ roster looks like this thus far:
- Atom Eve
- Battle Beast
- Bulletproof
- Invincible
- Lucan
- Omni-Man
- Rex Splode
- Thula
