Oliver Hudson Shares What Goldie Hawn Wants to Do for 80th Birthday

Goldie Hawn’s family isn’t going overboard for her 80th birthday festivities.

However, Kate Hudson’s son, Oliver Hudson, and his family would have undoubtedly done anything to make her feel special and appreciated.

“We’d do absolutely anything to make her happy,” he told Us Weekly on Goldie’s birthday, November 21st. “Whatever she wanted, we’d find a way to make it happen, but she really is a down-to-earth person.”

Goldie Hawn is planning a small, private celebration for her birthday. She shares children Oliver (49) and Kate Hudson (46) with her ex-husband Bill Hudson, and son Wyatt Russell (39) with her current partner, Kurt Russell.

Oliver explained that his sister simply wants to spend time with her family, and that’s what they’re focusing on right now. They have some surprises planned, but they’re keeping the celebrations private and limited to close family.

Actor Diego Serrano, who starred in Scream Queens and is father to Wilder (18), Bodhi (15), and Rio (12) with his wife, Erinn Bartlett, shared some details about how his family typically celebrates the holidays.

We’re planning a few activities, including a golf tournament and cooking demonstrations. We might also have some music. We have a lot going on, but it will be a private event, just for family members.

Oliver was determined to celebrate the actress from Overboard on her special birthday, but he wasn’t the only one who showed their mother some love. His sister, Kate, also sent birthday wishes.

Kate shared her heartfelt birthday wishes for her mother, calling her extraordinary and a queen. ‘Today, let’s all celebrate this amazing woman as she turns 80! We love you, Mama!’ she said.

For Mother’s Day 2024, Kate Hudson shared a heartwarming photo of her mother, Goldie Hawn, surrounded by six of her eight grandchildren.
