Olivia Rodrigo wows in Union Jack hot pants as she shares her ‘love’ for England before bringing out The Cure’s Robert Smith as a surprise guest in ‘amazing’ Glastonbury set

On the stage at Glastonbury last Sunday evening, I couldn’t help but feel electrified wearing my Union Jack minishorts, as I expressed my affection for England during my main performance. (Olivia Rodrigo)

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but gush about the breathtaking spectacle I witnessed! The pop sensation, only 22 years young, stole the show on the Pyramid Stage during the grand finale at Worthy Farm. In a bold move that had everyone talking, she delivered an unforgettable performance in a daring ensemble – fishnet tights and a graphic T-shirt that truly made a statement!

In the heat of my passionate performance, I took a moment to share my ardor for an assortment of delightful British treats, particularly the scrumptious sweets from Marks & Spencer.

One important fact about me is that I have a deep affection for England. I adore England tremendously. It was bands such as the Cure that initially introduced me to England, but as I’ve grown older, there are countless aspects of England that I cherish.

As a connoisseur of life’s finer aspects, I must confess my deep affection for the enchanting landscape and rich culture of England. There’s just something about those charming British lads that has me smitten, and my current beau, Louis Partridge, is no exception. He truly ticks all the boxes!

As a devoted enthusiast, I express my unwavering affection for the vibrant realm of pop culture. One aspect that truly appeals to me is the acceptance people show towards enjoying a drink at an unusual hour – it’s simply fantastic! I also have a special fondness for the delightful English sweets offered by M&S, with Colin the Caterpillar being my personal favorite.

Since getting to Glastonbury, I’ve already enjoyed three servings of sticky toffee pudding – clearly showing my fondness for traditional English cuisine.

It turns out that I share the same affection for English men, which inspired me to pen the following tune. This song is titled ‘So America’, and it’s about a lad from England who adores beans on a jacket potato. I incorporated our shared humor into its creation.

When she began her performance, the Disney actress exuded contemporary style in a delicate white lace gown while performing the hit song “Obsessed”, which was part of her 2023 Guts album.

Olivia asked, “What’s up tonight, Glastonbury? Goodness gracious alive, I’ve never seen this many people before in all my days! Folks, remember, tonight is the final night of the festival. Are you all set for a fantastic time?

As a lifestyle guru, I had the privilege of witnessing an exceptional concert by the current chart-topper. Among the captivating performances was a rendition of “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl,” “Vampire,” and “Drivers Licence” – the 2021 hit single that marked a significant milestone in Olivia’s musical journey.

The singer was later joined on stage by Robert Smith from the Cure.

Prior to her guest taking the stage, Olivia shared her enthusiasm by saying, “I am absolutely thrilled about our upcoming guest. He might just be the greatest English songwriter ever, a true legend from Glastonbury, and an inspiration to me personally.

Afterward, the pair collaborated to play a version of Friday I’m in Love, a song that was featured on The Cure’s 1992 album titled “Wish.

In the past, Olivia graced the stage at Glastonbury in 2022, specifically the Other Stage. Notably, she has recently delivered a remarkable encore consisting of songs such as “So American,” “All-American B,” “good 4 u,” and “get him back!

As a devoted admirer, here I am recounting an unforgettable moment from the performance of the iconic pop star. Towards the end of her electrifying set, she donned a stunning Union Jack-themed ensemble for her encore. With a heartfelt expression, she concluded by expressing her deepest gratitude: “Glastonbury, thank you so much! This is truly a dream realized. I am eternally grateful. Thank you!

Enthusiasts flocked to the platform, now recognized as X (previously known as Twitter), to express admiration towards Olivia, praising her as one of the standout performers over the weekend. The Disney star was also celebrated for effectively countering critics who argued she wasn’t worthy of the main stage spot.

They wrote: ‘Olivia Rodrigo, that’s how you headline Glastonbury, 10/10 no notes;

Everyone at Glastonbury was singing ‘Drivers License’ wow, Olivia Rodrigo! You’ll forever be known as ‘that girl!’

‘Olivia Rodrigo, that’s how you headline Glastonbury, 10/10 no notes;

For Olivia Rodrigo’s concert… this was undeniably the most outstanding audience of the entire three-day weekend. Her bond with the crowd is exceptional, almost transcending typical performance dynamics.

‘Olivia Rodrigo silencing the haters with this brilliant performance;

I must say, Olivia Rodrigo’s performance on the Pyramid Stage at #Glastonbury tonight left me quite impressed. She sang, played piano, acoustic and electric guitars, and even had Robert Smith join her for a few duets of The Cure classics. All this, and she’s just 22 years old!

‘Okay olivia rodrigo rightly deserved that headliner spot, what a show and at only 22 as well;

Olivia Rodrigo once more demonstrates her prominence among today’s prominent pop female artists, particularly on a global stage.

I’m not at all bashful about saying it, but Olivia Rodrigo’s performance at Glastonbury was, without a doubt, one of the most impressive shows I’ve witnessed this year!

At just 22 years old, you’re the headliner at Glastonbury… What an incredible achievement, Miss Olivia Rodrigo! I am so proud of you.

On Saturday, Olivia enthusiastically embraced the festival ambiance, evident when she was seen perched on her boyfriend Louis Partridge’s shoulders, passionately singing “Common People” during Pulp’s impromptu performance.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself beaming with joy as I enthusiastically sang along to the legendary lyrics, all while animatedly waving my arms in the air.

Olivia opted for a laid-back look, donning a chic black-and-white sleeveless top, teaming it with leopard patterned shorts and practical hunter rain boots, complete with white knee-high socks.

Even though she made every effort to blend in with everyone else, it was Radio 1’s Greg James who managed to pick her out of the crowd.

On his Instagram story, it appeared that Greg was harmonizing with radio DJ Huw Stephens.

While the duo was harmonizing and recording, Greg captioned their clip: “Catching a Pulp concert with Olivia Rodrigo.

Later, he rotated the camera to reveal Olivia, who was only a stone’s throw away, with the audience appearing oblivious to the star’s proximity.

In a casual, Varsity-inspired outfit complete with a hat and shades, Greg playfully hinted at Olivia to his audience, asking humorously: “Who do you think that is?
