Almost three months after being seen together at Wimbledon 2025 – an appearance that generated a lot of buzz – the actor from *House of Guinness* explained why he and the singer, known as “Traitor,” generally prefer to keep their relationship private.

Louis admitted he didn’t realize their London outing would get so much attention. He told *Esquire U.K.* he saw a lot of pictures afterwards and felt it was very public.

He explained that Olivia and he have decided to keep their relationship more private. He believes there’s something special and valuable about maintaining that privacy.

He shared on Instagram that he hoped everyone had a chance to see Olivia’s show the night before. He posted a photo of her both backstage in her dressing room and performing on stage in front of a large audience, calling it a ‘truly special performance.’

Honestly, seeing her shine on stage was incredible! She’s worked so incredibly hard, and she absolutely deserved every bit of the amazing response she got from that huge crowd. It was a truly special Glastonbury moment, and I couldn’t have been happier for her!

The singer, known as “Vampire,” celebrated the occasion by sharing that Louis inspired her song “So American.” She also talked about all the things she loves about England while performing.

I wrote this song when I was falling for someone from London,” she explained to the audience. “As we got to know each other, we realized how different our cultures were.

She explained that he used to tease her about how she pronounced words with an American accent-specifically, she remembered him making fun of how she said “Glastonbury.” She then turned all their shared jokes into a song.
