Starry Studio, NetEase, and Pocketpair (the creators of *Palworld*) are teaming up for a special event in the multiplayer shooter *Once Human*. Starting October 30th, players can expect to see creatures from *Palworld* appear in *Once Human*, along with new maps and gameplay features designed specifically for this collaboration.
The upcoming crossover event will feature Pals like Cattiva, Chillet, and Chillet Ignis. Additionally, some secret Pals will appear on a special event island added to the game *Once Human* with the update, launching at the end of October. This was revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2025 with a trailer, available to watch below.
The new trailer gives a fun sneak peek at the upcoming team-up between *Once Human* and *Palworld*. It opens with a Pal diligently mining a rock, and then shows that Pal suddenly appearing in the unusual and eerie world of *Once Human*.
A special island is coming to *Once Human* that promises lots of surprises! It will blend gameplay from both *Once Human* and *Palworld*, letting players explore areas inspired by *Palworld* while discovering a new ecosystem where Pals, Deviations, and Meta-Humans live together. The developers have hinted at interesting interactions, like seeing the Wanderer and Chefosaurus Rex team up with Pals in unexpected ways.
The collaboration event introduces a new transformation feature, letting players turn into Pals and experience the game world with unique abilities and a fresh viewpoint. Plus, there will be exclusive cosmetic items available only during the event.
Okay, so Starry Studio just dropped a new update called Lunar Revelry Visional Wheel, and it’s kinda spooky! Basically, there’s this Blood Moon thing happening, and it can affect my Meta-Human with something called Moonlight’s Gaze. If the Gaze gets strong enough, this powerful dude, the Lord of Moonlight, will actually *become* a Meta-Human and start summoning these creepy creatures called Lunarspawn to guard him while he tries to steal my character’s identity and break out of the game. When that happens, I go into this Lunarspawn Transformation, and it’s wild – I lose everything that makes my character *me* – my shadow, how I look, even my name! It’s a total identity wipe.
The mobile game *Once Human* is launching its Trial of Misfortune event on September 29th. This event emphasizes teamwork, requiring players to cooperate to defeat the Lord of Moonlight and claim its treasure. The game world will be split into areas designed to encourage players to work together.
During this event, players can earn Moonlight Essence to unlock and improve Moonlight Trials. These trials let you customize the powers of the Lord of Moonlight. There are six different trial types, and the more Essence you use, the more powerful the effects will be.
Once Human is a free-to-play game you can currently enjoy on PC, Android, and iOS devices. It’s also planned to be released on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in 2026.
