Players can try out the game for free all weekend. While the game is quite long and detailed – it’s packed with content – it’s unlikely anyone will be able to complete it in just a weekend, even if they play non-stop. The developers at Warhorse made sure this adventure is challenging!
Warhorse aims to immerse you in 15th-century Bohemia, playing as a knight rising through the ranks. While your character, Henry, isn’t a complete beginner with a sword, you’ll need to practice and improve your combat abilities. Early on, if you encounter multiple enemies at once, it’s usually best to avoid a fight and retreat.
Good news for those trying out KCD2 during the free weekend! If you enjoy it, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is 40% off. Plus, you can continue right where you left off – your progress from the free trial will carry over to the full game. For even more content, the expansion pass, which includes all three story DLCs, is also discounted.
The last of the downloadable content packs is coming out right after this promotion ends! Called Mysteria Ecclesiae, it will be available on November 11th and lets you explore a brand new story as you investigate a hidden monastery. This Sherlock Holmes-inspired adventure seems like the biggest and best DLC Warhorse has created for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, making now a great time to start playing.
Even if you’re not sure about trying it, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is worth a look, especially while it’s free. There have been many excellent games released this year, but KCD2 stands out as one of the best of 2025. It’s a challenging and realistic RPG that will really put your skills to the test. Since it’s quite difficult, this free trial is a great way to see if the game is a good fit for you without any pressure. Don’t miss out – the trial ends on November 10th.
