It’s frustrating when you have to wait a long time for a new season of a show you love, and this is especially true with streaming services. While streaming has given us tons of great shows to watch, production can take a while, leading to long gaps between seasons and building up a lot of anticipation. This has definitely been happening with Netflix’s popular series, Bridgerton. Season 3 ended in June 2024, and fans have been excited for more. Good news: even though the new season isn’t due until January, you’ll be able to watch the first episode two weeks early!
Netflix announced a special premiere event for Bridgerton Season 4 called a Masquerade, taking place live on their Tudum platform on January 14, 2026, at 11:30 am Central Time. It’s more than just a screening – there will be pre-show entertainment, red carpet interviews with the cast, and a special performance (the details are still a surprise!). Fans will also get to watch the first episode of the new season live. Part one of Bridgerton Season 4 will be available on Netflix starting January 29th, with the remaining episodes arriving in February. To attend this event, fans simply need to RSVP by 9:30 pm Pacific Time on January 13th through the official Netflix event website.
Bridgerton Season 4 Promises a Cinderella-Style Love Story (And Could Be the Most Exciting Yet)

Like every season of Bridgerton, Season 4 will center on a new love story. This time, the focus is on Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his pursuit of Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a captivating woman he met at a masked ball. However, their romance faces challenges, as Sophie is the illegitimate daughter of an Earl and has a lower social standing. She’s been treated poorly and forced to serve her stepmother, Lady Araminta Gun (Katie Leung). The season is adapted from Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel, An Offer From a Gentleman, which draws heavily from the classic fairytale Cinderella.
Season 4 of Bridgerton is shaping up to be even more captivating, not only with a fairy tale-like story, but also with the return of several popular characters. Ruth Gemmell will reprise her role as Lady Violet Bridgerton, and Hannah Dodd and Florence Hunt are back as her daughters, Francesca and Hyacinth. Fans will also be delighted to see Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury, Polly Walker as Lady Portia Featherington, and, of course, Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton.
Season 4 of Bridgerton will be released on January 29, 2026. Netflix will host a special livestream event for the first episode on January 14th.
