It’s rare for a horror movie to be considered truly the best, but one film from the 2010s achieved that status. Starting September 1st, HBO Max subscribers can stream the popular 2011 horror movie, *The Cabin in the Woods*. The film stars Chris Hemsworth (before his role in *Thor*) along with Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, and Jesse Williams as a group of college friends whose weekend trip to a secluded cabin turns into a terrifying ordeal. Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Amy Acker, and Sigourney Weaver also feature in the movie, which was written by Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon – the director behind the first two *Avengers* films – and produced by Whedon.

Fans can also enjoy both *It* and *It: Chapter Two* before the *Welcome to Derry* series arrives.
