Retro side-scrolling fans, listen up: the superb Gravity Circuit is getting a PS5 sequel in 2027.
I’m really excited about the new game from Domesticated Ant Games – seriously, what a fantastic name for a developer! They’ve promised more of that amazing, precise platforming action we’ve come to expect, and this time you can choose how you play with two different characters.
The press release explains:
Kai excels in close combat with fast punches, grappling hooks, and quick movement. Cable prefers fighting from a distance, using ranged attacks and the ability to stay mobile with chained jumps. He can also turn defeated enemies into resources he can use as ammo.
Throughout the game, you’ll earn upgrades from defeating bosses. These boosters and modifiers let you customize how you play, so you can try out different combinations and find what works best for your unique style.
The original game was highly rated, receiving an 89 on Metacritic for PC. It’s currently discounted up to 60% on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Plus members, making it a good option to check out while you anticipate the release of this new version.
