I’ve been pretty busy with work and catching up on games lately, but I’m a big fan of the competitive shooter VALORANT. So, I was really excited when I found out HP was creating a special VALORANT-themed PC and jumped at the opportunity to get one as soon as possible.
The HP OMEN 35L VALORANT Limited Edition is a pre-built gaming PC based on the OMEN 35L (2024), which I previously reviewed and liked. It’s being released as a preview for the upcoming OMEN 35L Stealth Edition, which will be the official PC used in professional VALORANT and League of Legends esports competitions.
I’ve got the OMEN 35L VALORANT Edition here, and I’m really impressed with the design details, both on the outside and inside. The good news is it’s not just a display model – you can preorder the HP OMEN 35L VALORANT Limited Edition now at BestBuy.com for $1,829.99, or customize your own starting at $1,672 on HP.com.
A capable pre-built tower with an even sleeker design

As expected, this desktop is built around the popular HP OMEN 35L, which is a great foundation. The OMEN 35L is already a well-regarded pre-built PC for gaming and creative work, known for its attractive design, strong performance, and many customization options.
This special edition OMEN 35L features some significant design updates. I’m really impressed by how thorough this collaboration has been – it seems like almost everything has been reworked.
The case has a sleek matte black finish with red highlights. It features a glass side panel decorated with etched designs, and a new glass front panel with a space behind it for ventilation. Even the parts inside were customized with matching colors and understated details inspired by VALORANT.
HP clearly put a lot of effort into this limited edition design – it’s truly well-done.
The HP and Riot Games collaboration also includes a magnetic VALORANT Gun Buddy that can stick to the metal parts of the OMEN 35L PC-or anywhere else you like! It’s not a main reason to buy the PC, but it’s a neat little bonus.
Many special, limited-edition PCs are only attractive to dedicated fans of the game they’re based on, but this one stands out because it looks good even if you don’t play VALORANT. Plus, the PC inside is quite powerful, although it’s not the absolute fastest model available.
This PC runs on an Intel Core i7-14700F processor, with a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (16GB) graphics card. It also includes up to 64GB of fast DDR5 RAM and up to 4TB of high-speed PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. While it might not have *every* latest component, it delivers more than enough performance to compete with top players in VALORANT.
I recommend the configuration available at BestBuy.com for $1,829.99. It includes a powerful RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of memory, 32GB of RAM, and a fast 1TB SSD.
HP and VALORANT are going hand-in-hand from now on

Everyone’s talking about the new VALORANT Edition, but I wanted to highlight something HP announced earlier: the OMEN 35L Stealth Edition. As I understand it, Riot Games selected HP as the official PC provider for their esports events, and the pros competing in VALORANT will be using this streamlined, matte black Stealth Edition. It’s a really cool system, and it’ll be interesting to see it in action during tournaments.
I’m really looking forward to checking out the new Stealth Edition – honestly, I’m way more hyped than I probably should be! What *really* surprised me, though, was HP releasing a dedicated VALORANT Edition. I didn’t expect them to go after serious fans who aren’t necessarily pro esports players. The Stealth Edition is all about being subtle and letting the game shine, but the VALORANT Edition? It’s bold, it’s flashy, and it’s powerful – exactly what you’d want!
HP is making both versions widely available. You can already preorder the HP OMEN 35L Stealth Edition for $2,589.99 directly from HP’s website. The fact that the VALORANT Limited Edition is being sold at both HP and Best Buy in several different setups suggests there will be a decent amount of stock, though it’s still best not to delay your purchase if you want one.
It’s often discouraging to see unique, limited-edition PCs that are out of reach for most people. That’s why it’s great to see HP create a genuinely well-designed limited edition PC and actually make it available to everyone. The HP OMEN 35L VALORANT Limited Edition looks fantastic, and while it’s a bit expensive, that’s understandable considering it’s a custom, officially licensed design.
