I’ve stumbled upon the disappointing news that the digital version of “Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed” has been removed from the Nintendo Switch eShop. It appears that this happened without much notice, leaving some fans unaware until recently, while others had already figured it out earlier. Unfortunately, this means that new players can no longer digitally purchase “Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed”.
Originally launched on October 16th, 2020, “Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed” has been removed from the Nintendo eShop. Unfortunately for fans, it was one of the few “Zoids” games available on the Nintendo Switch, and they can no longer enjoy the series on this platform.
It appears that the takedown only applies to specific regions like the U.S., but it’s still possible to buy and download the game elsewhere. However, some physical copies may still be available, though availability might differ based on the retailer. Fans can resort to purchasing from resellers, but they should anticipate potential price increases.
Fans started debating about the game due to its release, with many commending it and pointing out the lack of promotion as a possible cause for its underperformance. It appears that Outright Games may not have invested much in marketing Zoids Wilds: Blast Unleashed, which might explain its low sales figures.
I just found out the hard way….

It’s not shocking that Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed didn’t sell well given its mediocre reception by critics, the fact that it was mostly bought by fans due to low review scores, and the lack of effective marketing for the game.
From my perspective as an outside observer, it’s crucial to point out that just because there are issues within the gaming community, such as those related to NSFW content, doesn’t automatically mean a game should be delisted. The removal of servers for games like “The Crew” by Ubisoft and the recent takedown of numerous NSFW games on platforms like Steam and Itch.io have sparked controversy. This is an ongoing concern that has gained mainstream attention, particularly in the gaming community.
