I’ve noticed a lot of buzz around One Piece lately, and it’s actually free to read online right now, which is a great way to see what all the excitement is about. It’s already the best-selling manga in the world, but it’s also doing incredibly well in overall comic sales – only Superman sells more copies! But things have really taken off recently, especially with the new live-action series on Netflix. It’s clear this manga isn’t just popular, it’s a global phenomenon.
The popularity of the live-action series has attracted a lot of new fans to One Piece, and many are now discovering the original story is a manga (a Japanese comic book) by Eiichiro Oda. The show sparked enough interest that people who hadn’t read the manga before are now eager to try it. However, with over 100 volumes and 1,000 chapters, the series is quite long and can seem overwhelming, especially considering the cost of buying all the books. Luckily, about 10% of the One Piece manga is currently available to read online for free for a limited time, making it easier than ever to get started.
First 155 Chapters of One Piece Are Free to Read for a Limited Time
Now you can read the first 155 chapters of One Piece for free on the Shonen Jump app! It’s the perfect opportunity to begin Luffy and the Straw Hats’ incredible journey. Start reading today!

After Netflix released the trailer for Season 2 of One Piece on February 10th, Shonen Jump announced that the first 155 chapters of the One Piece manga will be available to read for free on their app until April 10th. Although they didn’t specifically say it was to celebrate the upcoming season, it’s clearly connected. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in the manga, as these chapters cover the same story as the first two seasons of the Netflix live-action series, all the way up to the Alabasta arc.
Now’s a great time to start reading the One Piece manga! It’ll give you a chance to get familiar with the story before the second season comes out next month, and help you appreciate the live-action adaptation as its own thing – not a replacement for the original manga or anime. You’ll quickly see how much more detail and depth the manga offers. Just be prepared – you might get hooked and want to buy the rest of the series after chapter 155 to find out what happens next! This is a perfect chance to experience why One Piece is considered a king of Shonen manga, but don’t delay – it’s only available to read until April 10th.
