As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but marvel at the fact that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, despite being over four years old now, continues to receive unwavering support from Bandai Namco in their impressive roster of anime-based successes.
Previously, the publishing company announced an expansion for the Musou sequel, similar to how Luffy’s limbs stretch, by releasing a PlayStation 5 version and a new Season Pass.
This weekend, on August 10th, it’s anticipated that a new Downloadable Content (DLC) will be unveiled as part of One Piece Day celebrations. In preparation for this, an update for the PlayStation 4 version of the game has already been released.
According to the updates, they’ve included “add-on support,” but keen explorers have delved into the code without finding any hidden riches as of now.
It seems likely that we’ll see the new content and PS5 version soon, if not already close at hand. We’ll definitely share updates as soon as any official information becomes available, probably over the weekend.
