One Piece’s Anime Confirms Exciting Dub Update Right Before Egghead Arc’s Finale

The *One Piece* manga is currently in the Elbaf Arc, while the anime is wrapping up the Egghead Incident Arc. Since its premiere in 1999, *One Piece* has consistently released new episodes every week, though occasionally with filler content or short breaks. These weekly episodes are initially available in Japanese with subtitles, and English dub fans have to wait longer. Unlike many other anime, *One Piece* releases its English dub in larger blocks of around ten episodes due to the time and effort needed for dubbing. While the anime was six months on hiatus, it nearly caught up to the Japanese version, and episodes 1123-1133 were dubbed and released in English this August.

During New York Comic Con 2025 on October 10th, the anime *One Piece* revealed a first look at its upcoming Elbaf Arc and a preview of Episode 1146. Crunchyroll will begin streaming the English dub of episodes 1134-1143 in November 2025, though a specific date hasn’t been announced yet. The official *One Piece* X account confirmed the November release window. These new episodes will finish the emotional story of Kuma and continue the action-packed battle on Egghead Island.

One Piece’s Eggead Incident Arc Will Soon Be Reaching Its Finale

The anime began a new story arc called the Egghead Incident in January 2024, marking the start of the story’s final chapter. This arc follows the Straw Hat Pirates as they travel to Egghead, a futuristic island, after leaving Wano. Along the way, they rescue Bonney from the ocean and encounter Dr. Vegapunk, widely considered the world’s most brilliant scientist. They discover that despite spending years working for the World Government, he has become a target of theirs.

Things quickly fall apart as Vegapunk’s island is swarmed by powerful enemies: the CP0 agents, a hundred Marine warships, Admiral Kizaru, and even Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, all determined to eliminate Vegapunk and prevent Luffy’s crew from leaving. Just when it seems hopeless, the remaining Elders appear and block Luffy’s path. The anime then shockingly reveals their true, monstrous forms and incredible powers, making them seem invincible.

Fortunately, Luffy receives help from the Giant Pirates, led by Dorry and Brogy, during this current storyline. Because Elbaf is near Egghead, the Giants offer to take Luffy and his crew with them. The battle against the Five Elders and the planned broadcast by Vegapunk will kick off the final part of the story. The arc concludes with a surprising revelation, showing that the events at Egghead will drastically change the world and usher in a new age.
