Season 3 of *One-Punch Man* has arrived as part of the exciting Fall 2025 anime lineup, and it starts with a thrilling new opening that hints at Saitama’s upcoming challenge. There’s a lot of anticipation for this season – it’s been a long wait since Season 2 ended, and it also marks the 10th anniversary of the original anime. Plus, fans had mixed reactions to the second season, especially compared to the widespread acclaim of the first, so expectations are high.
The first episode of *One-Punch Man* Season 3 is now available, and viewers are eager to see what the rest of the season holds. The premiere focused on the heroes’ preparations for upcoming battles against the Monster Association, with the new opening hinting at major fights to come, including the showdown between Saitama and the Monster King Orochi.
One-Punch Man’s New Opening Sets Up Saitama’s Big Fight
ONE PUNCH MAN SEASON 3 OPENING!!! #onepunchman

I’m so hyped for *One-Punch Man* Season 3! The new opening, “Get No Satisfied!” by JAM PROJECT and Babymetal, gives us a fantastic preview of all the characters we’ll be seeing this season. It’s awesome to get a glimpse of both the S-Class Heroes gearing up for battle *and* the seriously intimidating monsters they’ll be facing. From what I’ve seen, this season is shaping up to be an all-out war, and it looks like they’re adapting a really substantial arc from the manga and webcomic. And thankfully, Saitama’s right in the thick of it, which is exactly what we want to see!
A quick preview shows Garou and Saitama seemingly battling the Monster King Orochi. This suggests either both fights will happen simultaneously, or that both heroes will eventually face Orochi. However, a fight between Saitama and Orochi wouldn’t be much of a challenge – Saitama is incredibly powerful, so the outcome is pretty certain. There won’t be much suspense in that matchup.
What Does This Mean for Saitama’s Future?
What makes *One-Punch Man* enjoyable isn’t whether Saitama wins his battles – he always does. It’s whether his opponents can actually put up a good fight. Throughout the series, he’s been looking for someone who can withstand more than one punch, and he rarely gets truly challenged. So, even though we know how the fight with Orochi will end, the excitement comes from seeing just how powerful the Monster King is before he’s defeated.
Fans are worried about how the new season will look, and for good reason. A big part of what makes *One-Punch Man* fun is seeing opponents struggle against Saitama, who can defeat them with a single punch. To really work, these fights need to be visually impressive. If the animation doesn’t deliver, this season could be as disappointing as the second one. Luckily, the early episodes look great, and *One-Punch Man* Season 3 is currently streaming on Hulu, offering a promising start.
