One-Punch Man Season 3 Readies for Fall With New Update

This autumn, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the premiere of Season 3 of “One-Punch Man,” a long-awaited return for anime enthusiasts everywhere. As we edge closer to its debut, fresh updates have emerged to whet our appetites even more. With “One-Punch Man” Season 3 set to take center stage in the Fall 2025 anime lineup as one of the most exciting comebacks to watch for, fans are left on tenterhooks about what’s in store next. However, there hasn’t been much movement yet in terms of new episodes shown, which has only served to heighten our curiosity and impatience.

Although One-Punch Man’s Season 3 hasn’t shown much movement in animation just yet, there have been consistent updates about its production. The latest development pushing it forward is the disclosure of details regarding the ending theme song. As of this initial announcement, the name of the new ending theme remains undisclosed, but it has been confirmed that Makoto Furukawa, Saitama’s voice actor, will be singing the new theme. What to Know for One-Punch Man Season 3

Makoto Furukawa is set to sing the fresh ending theme for “One-Punch Man” Season 3, continuing the tradition started in the second season. Furukawa also reprises his role as Saitama’s voice for the upcoming episodes, alongside previously confirmed returns of Hikaru Midorikawa as Garou and Daisuke Namikawa as Dr. Genus (along with other presumed returning cast members). The new opening theme for the season will be sung by JAM Project, who have worked on the show before, but the title remains undisclosed at this time. This means that some well-known opening and ending theme artists are set to return for the series’ comeback.

The third season of “One-Punch Man” has been confirmed for release sometime in October as part of the Fall 2025 anime lineup, however, an exact date hasn’t been set yet. Viz Media holds the English language rights for the series, but they haven’t disclosed their plans for streaming the new episodes just yet. The team behind the scenes will be similar to that of the second season, although some may remember the debates surrounding it.

What’s New for One-Punch Man Season 3?

The creative team behind Season 2 of “One-Punch Man” is set to return for Season 3, with J.C. Staff handling the animation production again. This news may be met with enthusiasm or apprehension depending on who you ask. Chikashi Kubota will collaborate with Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa in designing characters, Tomohiro Suzuki will oversee the scriptwriting, and Makoto Miyazaki will compose the music for the new season. Given that Season 2 didn’t receive overwhelming praise initially, there has been some unease regarding this upcoming season.

After an extended hiatus, the second season of “One-Punch Man” was produced by a different studio, tasked with following the acclaim of the initial series. However, despite eager anticipation, the response from fans upon its release wasn’t particularly favorable. Yet, there is optimism that this new season will address these concerns as it begins the 10th anniversary celebration for the “One-Punch Man” anime franchise overall.
