I’ve been following *One-Punch Man* for a while now, and it’s really become a standout in the anime and manga world. The idea is simple – the hero defeats everyone with just one punch – but it’s been incredibly popular. The original webcomic has been running for ages, and the manga has been serialized for over ten years, even surpassing some well-known series like *My Hero Academia*. The 2016 anime adaptation was a huge hit, but unfortunately, the second season didn’t live up to expectations with a noticeable dip in animation quality. Still, when they announced season 3 back in August 2022, the fanbase got really excited, and we’ve been anticipating its arrival ever since, despite all the discussion around it.

Recent manga sales figures include numbers from around the world, but the most recent three volumes are currently only available in Japan. Once these volumes are released internationally, sales are likely to increase significantly, especially given the exciting developments in the current storyline. In addition, with volume 35 still to come and a new anime season planned, manga sales are expected to get another boost, as anime adaptations have consistently led to higher manga sales.
Recent comments from the director of *One-Punch Man* Season 3 hinted the new season might not be as strong as the first, but also revealed a lot of passion is going into its production, and it’s expected to be better than Season 2. The upcoming season will cover a particularly exciting story arc from the manga, so even if the animation isn’t perfect, a cliffhanger ending could encourage fans to read the source material, increasing manga sales. Despite a slow release schedule over the past ten years, *One-Punch Man* remains incredibly popular, and it’s likely to continue breaking records, as there are no signs of it ending soon.
