Only 5 of Bruce Willis’ Final 25 Movies Are On Major Streamers (& 1 More Is About To Leave)

Bruce Willis is a famously popular actor who starred in over 100 movies throughout his long career. He’s best known for iconic roles like John McClane in the Die Hard films and Malcolm Crowe in The Sixth Sense. Although Willis released over 25 films between 2020 and his retirement in 2022, only a few of those final movies are currently available to stream on major platforms.

Currently, only five of Bruce Willis‘s last movies are available on the most popular streaming services (known as the “Big 7”), and they’re spread across three different platforms. Hulu has his 2022 films Paradise City and Wrong Place, while Prime Video offers Corrective Measures (with Michael Rooker) and Wire Room (also starring Kevin Dillon). If you want to watch Survive the Night, a 2020 thriller with Chad Michael Murray and Shea Buckner, you’ll need to stream it on HBO Max before October 31st, as it’s scheduled to be removed then.

Bruce Willis’ Final Movie Isn’t Streaming

The film Assassin, directed by Jesse Atlas, is currently unavailable on any streaming platform, even those outside the major seven. Released in limited theaters and for video-on-demand on March 31, 2023, it marked the end of Bruce Willis’ long and celebrated acting career. Based on Atlas and Aaron Wolfe’s short film Let Them Die Like Lovers, Assassin features Willis as Valmora, the leader of a secret military group that develops technology allowing operatives to transfer their consciousness into other bodies for undercover work.

This movie proved to be quite controversial, receiving mostly negative reviews from critics (9% on Rotten Tomatoes) but a much more positive response from general audiences (64%). Critics found the plot confusing, the acting weak, and the characters and action uninspired. While audiences agreed with some of these criticisms, they seemed to appreciate it as a decent, low-budget film released digitally, offering some surprising twists and a satisfying conclusion. Those interested in watching Assassin can find it available on demand.

Where To Stream Bruce Willis’ Other Final 25 Movies?

As a big Bruce Willis fan, I was a little bummed to see only five of his later films available on the major streaming services. But here’s a cool find: Tubi – yeah, the free one from Fox – actually has a surprisingly good collection! They’re streaming a bunch of his final movies like Breach, Hard Kill, Cosmic Sin, Out of Death, Apex, and American Siege. But it doesn’t stop there! They also have a ton of his older stuff too – I spotted The Jackal, Sunset, Precious Cargo, Breakfast of Champions, and Air Strike just browsing around. If you’re looking for a Bruce Willis marathon without paying a dime, Tubi is definitely worth checking out!
