Keeping up with an Oscars 2026 watch list is one battle after another.
Movies such as Sinners, One Battle After Another, and Hamnet are all competing for the Best Picture award at the Academy Awards on March 15th. If you want to be ready for the ceremony, it’s a good idea to watch all of the nominated films beforehand.
The race for Best Picture at this year’s Oscars is incredibly competitive. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners has broken records with a remarkable 16 nominations – the most ever. You can watch the thriller, starring Best Actor nominee Michael B. Jordan and Best Supporting Actor nominee Delroy Lindo, on streaming services like HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, or rent it through Fandango at Home and YouTube.
Delroy was thrilled to learn the film had been nominated in almost every category, including awards for directing and the original screenplay.
Delroy, who played Delta Slim in the film, recently told TopMob News that the positive response to the movie has been “incredibly joyful and affirming.” He explained that it’s wonderful to see audiences, both within and outside the film industry, connect with the work on such a deep and meaningful level, and that it seems to have genuinely touched people’s hearts.
He said he was deeply moved and felt incredibly affirmed, describing the experience as extraordinary and beyond words.
Delroy isn’t the only one thrilled about the Oscars. Everyone involved with One Battle After Another—the film earned a remarkable 13 nominations—is excited for the ceremony, and Best Supporting Actress nominee Teyana Taylor is particularly hopeful.

She expressed deep emotion, humility, and gratitude for everyone who has supported her, sharing in a statement following the nominations on January 22nd that she was honored to be recognized alongside the other talented women in her category.
The action film, directed and written by Paul Thomas Anderson and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is now available to stream on HBO Max, Hulu, Fandango at Home, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. DiCaprio was excited to receive a Best Actor nomination for his role as Bob Ferguson, marking his eighth Oscar nomination in total.
Leo shared that making the film was a deeply rewarding and collaborative experience. In a statement released after the nominations were announced on January 22nd, he credited the film’s success to the incredible talent and dedication of the cast – including Teyana, Chase Infiniti, Benny del Toro, Sean Penn, and Regina Hall – as well as the hard work of the entire crew.
