Outlander: Blood of my Blood stars tease what’s to come for final season 1 episodes

As the final episode of Outlander: Blood of My Blood approaches, viewers are eager to see how the stories of Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy), and Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) will conclude.

Despite a season filled with time travel, emotional moments, and difficult experiences, the Outlander spin-off has been renewed for a second season! While the current season will conclude with a resolution, we can expect many more stories to unfold in the future.

Ugh, looks like we’re in for a bit of a wait! The show’s taking a break next week, so the finale won’t be here for a couple more weeks, unfortunately. As a movie and TV fan, it’s always tough when you’re eager to see how a story wraps up!

According to the rules, they have just over a year to get married, which means she’s still considered unmarried in the public eye.

She’s still hesitant to talk about their relationship because of his family name – the Frasers – and the complications that brings. She hasn’t told her family or brothers about Brian yet. They face a lot of challenges and have a long way to go before things are easy.

Jamie Roy playfully described Brian, saying, “Brian will always be a bit of a troublemaker – some things never change!”

He added that throughout the series, the character really comes into his own and isn’t afraid to assert himself, as shown in episode 6. In the end, he has to decide whether to stay with Ellen or move on.

When asked about the season 1 finale and its impact, creator Matthew B Roberts explained he wanted viewers to feel shocked and eager to see what happens next, while also leaving the characters themselves facing an uncertain future and wondering what’s coming.

Things are starting to look brighter for Julia. Hermione Corfield hinted that Julia ends the first season with a sense of hope and positive momentum. While she’s faced many challenges, the ending suggests things are finally improving for her.

It’s unclear if she’s feeling optimistic because she’s reconnected with Henry, or just because she and her child are now safe – only time will tell.

He revealed that the first season ends with the MacKenzie family in a major crisis. As is typical for their world, they’re facing the possibility of significant changes and disruption.

The Jacobite rising will be a major event at the end of the first season, and we’ll explore its build-up in detail during season two. Conflict is definitely brewing, and with it comes all the upheaval and drama you’d expect from that time period. It’s going to be a very compelling storyline.

MacNeill shared some details about season 2, saying filming has begun and the material is fantastic. The cast is eagerly awaiting the remaining scripts, constantly wondering what will happen next. They’re quickly reading new scripts as soon as they receive them, and it promises to be a thrilling season with plenty of romantic storylines.
