Outlander season 8 release date finally confirmed as final episodes set to air

Outlander viewers enjoyed the new prequel, Blood of My Blood, this summer, but haven’t seen Jamie and Claire since the season 7 finale aired earlier this year.

Good news! We finally have the airdate for the eighth and final season of the show, and it’s coming soon.

Season eight is coming to MGM+ in the UK on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. It will premiere one day after its US debut on STARZ, which is on Friday, March 6th.

Season 8 opens with Jamie and Claire returning to Fraser’s Ridge to find that the war has reached their doorstep. Despite their absence, the settlement has become a successful and growing community.

As new people arrive and life changes after years apart, Jamie and Claire Fraser must decide how much they’re willing to give up for their home – and, even more importantly, how much they’ll sacrifice to remain a family.

The Fraser family presents a strong, unified defense against external threats, but long-held secrets are now emerging that could destroy them from within.

Even though the Revolutionary War is over, a new struggle has begun for those settling Fraser’s Ridge.

The returning cast, including Caitríona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, John Bell, David Berry, Charles Vandervaart, and Izzy Meikle-Small, will reprise their roles for the show’s final season.

Good news for Outlander fans! The show has been renewed for a second season of “Blood of My Blood,” which will continue the story of Jamie and Claire’s parents. Plus, there’s a possibility of even more spin-off shows in the future.
