Over the weekend for Batman Day 2024, I was thrilled to get my hands on a Mezco Toyz collection of 3.75-inch scale figures inspired by Tim Burton’s iconic 1989 Batman movie featuring Michael Keaton. The set includes a trio of figures – Batman, Joker, and Joker Goon – each with numerous interchangeable heads, arms, and accessories to customize their looks. To make it perfect, they also released a Batmobile vehicle that fits the Batman figure and boasts cool features like an armored canopy attachment, flip-up weapons, rotating wheels, and an attachable exhaust flame. It’s definitely going to be a great addition to my collection!

In the ongoing narrative of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” the cast from Camp Half-Blood expands further. This TV series, based on Rick Riordan’s popular books, primarily focuses on Walker Scobell’s character, Percy Jackson, who is a demigod. Simultaneously, it delves into the tales of other children born to Mount Olympus’s powerful deities. Initially, in “The Lightning Thief,” Percy, the son of Poseidon, was believed to be the only offspring of the Big Three (Poseidon, Zeus, Hades). However, as the main series unfolds, it gradually becomes clear that there are also other demigods roaming the human world, who share lineage with the god of lightning and the god of the dead.
