The South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) has recently given a rating to the sci-fi first-person shooter game, suggesting it’s suitable for those 12 years old and above. These ratings are typically announced close to release dates, so with a possible new Nintendo Direct this month, we might see Samus Aran make an appearance. While Metroid Prime 4: Beyond doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, there are still events like Gamescom in August (where Nintendo will be present) and Tokyo Game Show in September to look forward to.

For individuals interested in a side-by-side evaluation between “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” and “DC Studios’ Superman,” it’s worth noting that the latter debuted with an impressive $125 million, surpassing its predicted opening of $120 million due to a strong Sunday performance. Conversely, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is projected to earn approximately $218 million globally, only slightly below “Superman’s” worldwide debut of $220 million. Despite this slight difference, it’s an impressive accomplishment for the film which has already outperformed Fox’s 2015 reboot, earning $56.1 million domestically over its entire run and ultimately grossing just $167.88 million worldwide at the box office.

First appearing in Marvel Graphic Novel #4 back in 1982, The New Mutants boast a rich history spanning over four decades. Several of their members have ascended to leading roles within Marvel Comics following their tenure with the team.

A key aspect of the revival of King of the Hill is that many members of the original voice cast are reprising their roles, but there have been updates to the cast to more accurately reflect some characters’ ethnicities. During the series’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 (as reported by Entertainment Weekly), showrunner Saladin K. Patterson discussed these changes, noting that the series has evolved in much the same way as our world has over time.

In this new setting, the opening sequence takes place in the year 1969, four years after the birth of Franklin Richards, the first child born to Reed and Sue who underwent cosmic alterations. When H.E.R.B.I.E., their robotic companion (voice by Matthew Wood), suggests Sue reads Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species to Franklin, she leaves the room to get a children’s book instead. Upon her return, she finds Doctor Doom, his iron mask’s faceplate in hand, kneeling before Franklin.

The success of this film is crucial as it needs to rebuild fan trust and generate enthusiasm for a fresh chapter in the DC universe. So far, it appears that it has succeeded in doing so. In the spotlight now is Superman, which has garnered positive critical acclaim, been well-received by the general public, and sparked anticipation for what lies ahead. The next film in the series will be Supergirl, and there are plans to incorporate Wonder Woman and Batman in upcoming productions. Gunn’s ongoing work on his DC project suggests that both DC and Warner Bros. have faith in the future of the franchise.

Interestingly, despite its high production cost comparable to Kevin Costner’s notorious ‘Waterworld’, it only managed to rank as the 12th highest-grossing film domestically in 1995. Surprisingly, even surpassing box office hits like ‘Braveheart’, ‘Get Shorty’, and ‘The Bridges of Madison County’ wasn’t enough to make a profit.
