Deadpool & Wolverine: Pyro Star Aaron Stanford Reveals Reaction to His Fate
In their latest adventure, Deadpool and Wolverine revived several beloved characters from the 2000s Marvel Universe movies by 20th Century Fox, such as actor Aaron Stanford reprising his role as John Allerdyce, a mutant capable of controlling flames known as “Pyro.” Pyro was a fan-adored antihero in the X-Men films, having left Charles Xavier’s school to join Magneto’s army. Unfortunately, like many actors from the original X-Men trilogy, Stanford was replaced when the franchise rebooted with X-Men: First Class, missing out on the comic book movie boom that swept Hollywood following the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
