Actress Denise Crosby had left the show rather suddenly at the end of the first season. This episode gave her character a meaningful exit, allowing her to choose how she died, and it opened the door for Crosby to return in future episodes, even playing Tasha’s daughter. The reason we haven’t seen a Dandadan video game yet is likely because the series is still relatively new. The characters – Momo, Okarun, their friends, and enemies – would all translate well to a game, perhaps as a fighting game or an action RPG that explores the supernatural world they inhabit. Dandadan first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2021, and the anime, which premiered in 2024, has significantly boosted its popularity. Although nothing is official, a Dandadan video game seems very likely in the future.
