Producer Kosuke Yabuki revealed in an interview that even while they were perfecting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, they were already brainstorming ideas for the next installment. The prototyping began in March 2017, and by the end of the year, it had officially become a project. Can’t wait to see what they’ve been working on!
