This tragic news was confirmed by his manager, Kim Barry, and his husband, Tony Dugdale, on March 10. At the time of his death, Simon was 63 years old.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, the actor’s representative expressed, “Today, I mourn not only a professional colleague in Simon Fisher-Becker, but also a cherished friend of 15 years. A conversation I had with him will forever remain etched in my memory when he received the role of Dorium Moldovar on BBC’s Dr Who. Simon was a writer, storyteller, and eloquent speaker. He provided me significant assistance and was always kind, considerate, and curious about others. My sympathies extend to his husband Tony, his family members, and his numerous admirers.
