Enthusiasts of the Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman, who have been eagerly anticipating its Netflix adaptation, can now look forward with optimism.
The movie that everyone’s been waiting for, according to the streamer, is set to hit theaters all over the United Kingdom on the 22nd of August.
It will then be available to watch on Netflix from 28th August.
In this remarkable remake, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie take on the roles of Elizabeth (formerly a spy), Ron (previously a labor leader), Ibrahim (who used to be a psychiatrist), and Joyce (a retired nurse) respectively.

The quartet reside in the same retirement village, and get together to solve cold cases for fun.
However, hinted by the newly unveiled trailer, they’ll find themselves confronting a challenge as a murder occurs right at their front door, demanding their detective abilities.
Additionally, it displayed scenes featuring several members of the cast, such as Naomi Ackie from Blink Twice and Daniel Mays known for Line of Duty, who are portraying the police officers handling this case. Notably, David Tennant is playing the enigmatic proprietor of the retirement community.
