Monster Hunter Wilds’ new mega-boss is awesome, but waiting “literal hours” for this thing to spawn is such a buzzkill

The initial battle against Zoh Shia in Monster Hunter Wilds’ High Rank is a typical mission, offering an effortless rematch with one of the game’s standout characters. But if you wish to engage again, it isn’t as simple. Once you have completed Monster Hunter Wilds, you may have observed that Jin Dahaad frequently appears for a battle, with a notification informing you it has been sighted. In a similar fashion, Capcom has adopted this approach with Zoh Shia; the monster only appears when it chooses to, unlike Jin Dahaad, and there’s no optional quest available for repeated battles. This inconsistency in the Monster Hunter community has caused some confusion.
