The upcoming game Haunted Chocolatier looks promising, and the developer has a good reputation. However, it’s probably still a long time off, and there’s no guarantee it will even be released. In the meantime, I’m really excited about another spooky farming game called Moonlight Peaks. First announced in 2023, the developers, Little Chicken, along with publishers XSEED Games and Marvelous, have just announced its release date, and I can’t wait to play it.

Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo teamed up to create this action platformer, which launched at the same time on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Will Powers, the PR and Marketing Director at the studio, recently spoke with IGN to address some confusion surrounding the game. He clarified that Crimson Desert is an open-world action adventure title, distinguishing it from the RPG comparisons people were making to Black Desert Online. He emphasized this point when discussing the game’s approach to its expansive open world and its protagonist, Kliff – a tough character with a good heart.

Defeating bosses rewards you with their Shells, which grant you powerful abilities to use in battle. You can equip up to three Shells and switch between them on the fly, creating some amazing combinations. Each Shell also has four different upgrade paths, letting you customize your playstyle. However, these upgrades often come with trade-offs – improving one area might mean weakening another, forcing you to make tough decisions to build the character you want. This system creates a deeply engaging RPG experience.

Good news! Microsoft Gaming’s new CEO, Asha Sharma, recently shared on Twitter that ‘Helix’ is the internal codename for their next Xbox console. She says it will deliver top-tier performance and play all your Xbox and PC games. She’s excited to discuss it further with developers and partners at her first Game Developers Conference next week!

This series definitely wasn’t for everyone, and a lot of people wanted a more groundbreaking tournament. However, I really enjoyed it as a Superman story, and looking back, there were some fantastic scenes – like Superman using Darkseid’s Omega Sanction, or the Trinity battling their counterparts from another universe. While fans are still discussing how good the series was, I’d like to highlight some of the most exciting moments from the main story and its related comics to show just how cool it could be.
