Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf Review – We Were Here Together

So, I just played Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf, and it’s a really different experience from the first game. It starts with Lana filling me in on everything that happened before – apparently the planet actually has a name! Then, it jumps forward two years. Instead of a frantic run for your life, this one is more about exploring and figuring things out as Lana revisits familiar, broken-down areas. It’s a great way to get back into the platforming and puzzles, especially once you get control of Mui again. But it also throws in a lot more story moments with no text, letting the visuals do the talking, and really dives deeper into what the characters are discovering.

Netflix’s Most Action Packed Anime Needs a Renewal

The latest installment of the Baki franchise, Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai, recently hit Netflix. It not only features returning characters, but also introduces a powerful new enemy. The series brings back the legendary samurai Musashi Miyamoto – this time through a blend of science and the supernatural. A research facility cloned a body for him, and a spiritual medium restored his soul. All thirteen episodes are currently available, but the ending strongly suggests a second season is necessary to satisfy fans – including us!

DC Finally Gives Lex Luthor an Origin & Reversed 8 Decades of Lore

During the first year of Absolute Superman, we didn’t know if Lex Luthor even existed in this world. That changed with last October’s special, Absolute Evil. While powerful figures like Veronica Cale and Jack Grimm (the Absolute Joker) were creating their own version of the Justice League, they were being watched by this world’s Brainiac. He thought they needed one more crucial member to truly succeed. The Absolute Evil special concluded with Brainiac contacting Lex Luthor, who was unaware of the dangers to come.

Pedro Pascal’s Gladiator II Role Influenced Star Wars Mandalorian Changes

Pedro Pascal always voices the character of the Mandalorian, but because the bounty hunter’s code requires him to wear his Beskar armor constantly, stunt doubles like Lateef Crowder and Brendan Wayne often perform the physical scenes. The new season, The Mandalorian and Grogu, features Pascal in the armor more frequently and also shows his face without the helmet. Pascal was eager to do more of the physical acting himself this time around.

Karl Urban Gives Exciting Response to His Other Beloved Superhero’s Return

I was listening to The Discourse podcast the other day, and Karl Urban – you know, Billy Butcher from The Boys – was on there talking about his new film, The Bluff. He mentioned how much he’d love to play Judge Dredd again, and honestly, that got me really excited! I’d definitely be up for seeing him back in that role.
