HBO Max is making a live-action series based on the manga Song of the Samurai, originally known as Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem. The manga ran for thirty-six volumes from 2010 to 2023, and while an anime adaptation was made in 2017, it only had one short season. This new series will have plenty of source material to work with. Anime fans will be able to watch this fresh take on Chiruran when it premieres on May 9th, and it’s expected to be a hit this summer on HBO Max.

Next week, on March 3rd, PlayStation Plus members will get four new games: PGA Tour 2K25, Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road. All four games are available on PS5, and Monster Hunter Rise and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road are also playable on PS4. These games will be available as part of the PS Plus service until April 6th, when they’ll be replaced with a new selection of free games.

The sudden announcement of the final arc for Deadpool: Samurai after a year-long break already surprised fans, but the way the story ended was even more shocking. In a controversial finale, Deadpool literally blew up Shueisha’s building as his series concluded.

This expansion builds on the game’s already great action and style by adding three new story chapters, two new weapons, fresh enemies, new trials, and a challenging new mode called ‘Abyssal Road’. It looks like a lot of fun!
