One of Gaming’s Most Popular Franchises Is Finally Getting a Netflix Movie

I’m so excited to hear that Netflix is bringing Ticket to Ride to life! I’ve always loved that board game, and it’s fantastic news that they’re developing both movies and TV shows based on it. Apparently, they’re starting with a feature film written by Ben Mekler and Chris Amick – I can’t wait to see how they translate the game’s strategy and adventure onto the big screen. It’s such a unique project, and I think Netflix is really onto something here!

To become the next massive fantasy hit, it can’t just cater to those of us who already love Brandon Sanderson’s work; it needs to draw in a whole new audience too. I know adapting The Stormlight Archive will be incredibly difficult, but thankfully, there are a lot of successful fantasy shows out there that can offer some good examples of how to do it right.
