In this rephrased version, the title character from the critically acclaimed 2024 platformer, Astro Bot, is found as a hidden character within each stage of Snake vs. Monkey. Sometimes the little robot appears disguised as an ape, while other times it is in its regular robot form. Surprisingly, some monkeys are depicted interacting with the robot, despite the monkey positions remaining almost identical to the original. Capturing the monkeys triggers one of several humorous animations, while capturing Astro Bot initiates an animation reminiscent of the one in Astro Bot when players pick up an Astro Bot. Upon capture, Astro Bot is placed into a special white and blue cardboard box, and PlayStation button symbols float across the screen.

As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that Schafer mentioned none of the upcoming titles from Double Fine are sequels to our favorite older games. Working on Psychonauts 2 has kept us busy with sequels for a bit. This means that Brutal Legend might not be getting a follow-up anytime soon, but I’m hopeful that we can look forward to other fantastic games instead!

Konami has yet to explore or discuss the specific features of the PC version before its release, and there’s no word on when they plan to resolve any potential issues. However, they have dedicated a good deal of time to improving the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 on all platforms, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
