What’s on your bookshelf: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and GSC Game World’s Mariia Grygorovych

I think this is a really great chance to help Unicef raise money for kids in Ukraine who are going through so much right now. I’m finding Mariia’s points about how mental health, fantasy, and storytelling connect really insightful. Lately, I’ve been thinking about how trauma actually feels in your body, and that urge to just… get rid of it, which can be dangerous if you push it too far. I haven’t found anything recently that really helps with that, but I’ve actually been getting a weirdly calming feeling from reading walking guidebooks – it’s like a little escape, imagining myself moving through places I can’t actually see. Anyone else found any books that have been helping them process things? I’m always looking for recommendations.
