Lately, I’ve been thinking about how trauma actually feels in your body, and that urge to just… get rid of it, which can be dangerous if you push it too far. I haven’t found anything recently that really helps with that, but I’ve actually been getting a weirdly calming feeling from reading walking guidebooks – it’s like a little escape, imagining myself moving through places I can’t actually see. Anyone else found any books that have been helping them process things? I’m always looking for recommendations.
