The newest episode of Starfleet Academy was surprisingly sensual, starting with a very intimate scene featuring tastefully done nudity. While not as explicit as some romantic fantasy stories, the connection between Caleb Mir and Tarima Sadal had many of the same elements: magical abilities, a sense of being different, intense attraction, and a forbidden romance—she’s a student at the War College, and he’s a rebellious Starfleet cadet. If any Star Trek series was going to depict normal, healthy sexuality, it would be Starfleet Academy. And the episode also included a long-awaited scene that was famously cut from earlier Star Trek footage.

LaserDisc games weren’t just innovative – they completely changed what was possible in gaming. This technology led to incredible titles like Dragon’s Lair, Space Ace, and Mad Dog McCree. These games were essentially interactive movies; players made choices at certain moments – usually by reacting to a highlighted object on screen – which would instantly trigger a corresponding video clip. The responsiveness was remarkable, and it seemed like LaserDisc games would become the future of arcades. However, despite their initial promise and groundbreaking features, the format ultimately faded away.

The game is making a significant change to one of the X-Men, suggesting it’s willing to alter established storylines. While popular heroes like Wolverine and Storm will be playable, the inclusion of Danger as an ally is unexpected. The fourth part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will continue to benefit from the involvement of creator Tite Kubo, who is helping with the anime’s production, just as he did with the previous three parts. Kubo recently shared a message with fans through his Klub Outside group, hinting at his work on an upcoming episode in this final season. He also revealed that a completely new character, not featured in the original manga finale, will be making their debut.

Just because everyone’s talking about the big AAA games doesn’t mean there aren’t tons of awesome smaller titles on PS5 too. I was stoked to see Sony just announced they’re bringing 11 of them to us in 2026 – can’t wait to check those out!
