The exclusive first issue of Star Wars: The High Republic – The Finale, penned by Cavan Scott and Marika Cresta, offers an intriguing peek. This story unfolds in the skies above Coruscant, with a constellation of starships floating above the gleaming metropolis. Our guide through this narrative is Jedi Master Keeve Trennis, who commands the Stormwall Defense Fleet. Having recently emerged victorious from the Battle of Eriadu against the Nihil, Master Keeve and his team are returning home. Yet, instead of celebrating their triumph, they approach it with solemn reverence, as if mourning a loss.

The visuals strongly echo the art style from Tetsuo Hara that made the 80’s manga a massive success. As part of the unveiling, Warner Bros. Japan has confirmed that this new anime will be showcased at their panel during Anime Expo 2025. This panel is set to highlight various upcoming anime from the studio, with “Record of Ragnarok” being one of the central topics. Representatives from Coamix, a Japanese company specializing in manga and anime, will also be part of this panel. The revamped “Fist of the North Star” anime will boast a fresh creative team and voice actors, incorporating modern animation technology.

Double Dragon Revive functions essentially as a follow-up to the original beat ’em up series, with its narrative set in a fresh but familiar universe. The game is touted as “an authentic modern beat ’em up adventure,” and it unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by nuclear conflict.

The upcoming “Enchanted by Nature” expansion for “The Sims 4” has garnered significant interest due to the inclusion of Fairy Sims, but it’s not just that. It also brings a host of cottagecore and nature-inspired items and features. This includes the option to rejuvenate your Sim’s needs in natural surroundings. In the build-up to the pack’s launch on July 10th, Nature’s Calling is offering rewards themed around the wilderness to prepare players for decorating their new outdoor paradise when the pack becomes available.

In earlier Resident Evil games like 2 and 4, Leon was a more fitting protagonist due to his integration into the horror genre. However, in Resident Evil 6, some players might have felt that both Leon’s and Chris’ parts of the campaign veered towards a standard action game, rather than maintaining the horror aspect. This is not to say that RE6 doesn’t have its flaws, but it does highlight how experienced protagonists can diminish the fear factor for the player. Given these observations, it’s plausible that Leon may not be ideal as the main character in Resident Evil Requiem, and would instead excel in a supporting role.
