With the upcoming release of Maul: Shadow Lord on Disney+ later this year, Sam Witwer shared with Star Wars Insider (via Star Wars Holocron) that Savage Opress will continue to be important in the 2026 Clone Wars spinoff. Witwer explained that, at this point in the timeline, Maul is still focused on his brother as he explores his own identity.
