Naturally, trouble from their past returns, putting their lives and relationship in danger as they try to escape assassins, Russian agents, old flames, and former rivals. The strain of keeping their family safe and confronting long-held secrets begins to break down their marriage. What makes the show stand out is its realistic, flawed characters—they aren’t polished or simplified—all unfolding against a gripping and dramatic backdrop with a touch of dark humor. It’s precisely the kind of smart, modern spy thriller we’ve been waiting for.

I was initially drawn to Pathfinder because it included a Witch class, which wasn’t available in D&D 5e. Pathfinder also offers a much wider variety of classes overall – currently 27, with 2 more planned for this year – compared to D&D‘s 13 core classes. Paizo recently previewed two more new classes in a livestream playtest. When these are released, likely in 2027 or later, Pathfinder will boast a total of 30 playable classes.
