For the past ten years, director Mike Flanagan has frequently collaborated with horror legend Stephen King, creating a series of popular adaptations. Flanagan skillfully brings King’s stories to life, as seen in critically acclaimed films like Gerald’s Game and the sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep. Even when branching out from horror with The Life of Chuck, starring Tom Hiddleston, the project received positive reviews, demonstrating a strong creative connection between Flanagan and King. Looking ahead, Flanagan plans to continue this successful partnership by adapting more of King’s most famous works.

The reappearance of killers thought to be gone for good in Scream has sparked a lot of debate about what Scream 7 will be like. Some fans theorized the new movie would have a complex, self-aware layer, potentially allowing actors like Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich to play versions of themselves within the Stab movies shown inside the Scream universe. However, writer Kevin Williamson now suggests Scream 7 will move away from the core elements that have defined the franchise.

With the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday set to unite heroes from the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men, it’s a great moment to remember the original superhero teams that paved the way for Marvel and comics as a whole.

Today marks the 31st anniversary of the Simpsons episode “Homie the Clown,” which originally aired on February 12, 1995. The episode features Homer attending clown college to become a local version of Krusty the Clown. Interestingly, the episode subtly explained the visual similarities between Homer and Krusty. Originally, writers considered the idea that Krusty was Homer in disguise, but they ultimately chose a different storyline.

Over the years, the series has consistently improved, with each new game having its supporters and detractors. However, few games in the franchise—or in video games as a whole—have reached the level of Super Mario Bros. 3. It took everything that made the first game enjoyable and made it even better, quickly becoming a commercial and critical success. Even now, 36 years later, it’s still considered one of the greatest platforming games of all time.

The first volume of the manga came out in Japan on January 5th, 2026, and quickly sold over 266,000 copies that month. Even without being available outside of Japan, it was the sixth best-selling manga of the month. Now, more than five months after it began, the story is nearing its end. The manga, Modulo, has clearly entered its final arc, building towards a conclusion.

As announced last month, a major update called Threads of Fate (patch 1.1) is now available for the game, adding a lot of exciting new content to an already great experience.
