I first got my hands on 2XKO when it entered Early Access on PC back in October 2025. But the full release, with all the bells and whistles, finally hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on January 20, 2026. I’ve been playing it ever since!

Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind games like Control and Alan Wake, is shifting its focus to current projects and plans to release Control Resonant and the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake. They’re moving resources away from Firebreak to make this happen. With a new leader, Sami Gaudechon, bringing a wealth of experience, the studio is well-positioned to navigate this important period and deliver on its upcoming games.

Here are five fantasy books that were adapted for the screen and could really benefit from a remake—and quickly! While some of the original adaptations weren’t bad, there’s room for fresh and creative approaches. Others, though, were poorly done and fans deserve to see these beloved stories done justice.

Some reboots of beloved series have been huge successes, leading to fan-favorite comics. Others, unfortunately, haven’t worked out so well. Here’s a look at five reboots that really hit the mark, and five that completely missed.

Honestly, you won’t believe how many sci-fi films out there are even more confusing than you’d think! Sometimes, the directors intentionally leave things ambiguous, letting the audience piece together the story themselves. It’s like they’re saying, ‘You figure it out!’ which can be frustrating, but also kind of cool.

The live-action One Piece series is returning to Netflix in March with its second season, and this time Luffy and the Straw Hat crew will face a new threat: the dangerous Baroque Works organization. A recently released poster also gave fans their first look at Sir Crocodile as he’ll appear in the show. You can see the poster below.

It’s always enjoyable to predict what will be shown at events like State of Play. While we can’t know for sure, it’s fun to speculate and make guesses about the announcements during the hour-long presentation.
